Tomorrow Percy Main will face current league leaders Newcastle University at Purvis Park in a Northern Alliance Premier division game which will kick off at 2pm.

A tough first game 2019 against a side who have won 15 of their 16 league games played to date and have knocked in 83 goals on the way, but The Main played well in a 3-1 midweek defeat at the Uni's Kimberley Park ground back in September and finished 2018 with a few encouraging performances.

The transfer merry go round has continued, Karl Connon has joined Wallsend Community or Longbenton FC who have taken their place in the division, Ronan Attwood has joined Newcastle East End and Connor Gales has moved back to London. Good luck to those in their new surroundings.

On the incoming front, long serving West Allotment midfielder Ian Dunn has signed for Percy, along with Dan Soutar who has transferred from North Shields Athletic today.
