So why did you play half your first team agains Malvern thirds?
Gareth, our 1st XV played a league fixture at home against Old Laurentians. The team that played at Malvern was the 2nd XV for that day. I am not sure what we would have benefitted from leaving half our first team out to take part in a freindly at Malvern!!!!
i love this, lets consider the thought process of a 1st team player...
Old laurentians at home or Malvern 3rds away, sod it lets play for the 2s at Malvern.
LOL - sorry guys, just a bit of banter :-)
Its sour grapes really as you beat us fair and square. Im still nursing the bruises today -hardest game I have played in a long while!! Good luck in your league this year, although if you keep playing like that you probably wont need it!
Thats OK Gareth. It is not unusual for us to have a sense of humour failure at Pershore.
Not at all buddy - you have a great bunch of lads there and we enjoyed hosting you at Malvern.
I can't say I am looking forward to playing you again anytime soon though :-)
