......what I wanted to say was that for anyone with kids (boy or girl) get them along to the North Inch Sunday mornings.....
First Sunday of school term meant kids’ rugby training restarted. Being a bit of an oik from a west coast council scheme as a kid I never had any involvement with rugby. You know the idea - we lived in a cardboard box and played football with any round object we could find, dreaming one day of making it big and strolling on to the hallowed turf of Boghead as gallus as Jim Baxter. Enough of those glorious memories, what I wanted to say was that for anyone with kids (boy or girl) get them along to the North Inch Sunday mornings, the standard of coaching is immense all about getting the kids involved and enjoying the sport, totally inclusive and I can’t praise it highly enough. Obviously, my younger son Toby (a name surely designed for rugby but apparently meaning something very different in Dundee ) thinks it’s rubbish and refuses to participate, but that’s down to his mother spoiling him.
