Hi there - on Saturday 12th May my husband Graham Glennie collapsed at the 7's tournament and beer feast on the North Inches in Perth. We had arrived from New Zealand the day before and were down at the tournament with relatives when he suddenly collapsed outside the beer tent. Members of the Perth rugby club medical team arrived to assist together with a GP from Lochgelly who was there as a spectator. I would like to thank all concerned for your prompt and professional attention to my husband and for sending for an ambulance to take him to PRI. I am thankful to say that although he showed irregular heart beat for some time, after spending the night in hospital was discharged next morning in good health. The doctor advised that he thought the long flight together with lack of sleep and a long walk that morning contributed to his condition.
The actions of your personnel were much appreciated by myself and my husband.
