Crunch time at Half Way Stage

The senior teams now enter the second half of the season and so the North Inch will see the return of Lasswade and two former Shire players Derek O'Riordan and Kyle McKinnon.Lasswade sit one place above in the table and both sides will seek the crucial winning points as they are perched just above the relegation zone.

The 2nd XV face local rivals Crieff in the National 3 east division and Alec WAtson and John McDonald will hope that their squad will continue their recent progress and record a win away from home.

A number of players return from injury this weekend so both squads should be strengthened.

On a really positive note Stevie Light returned home last night after his short stint in Ninewells with the news that he had suffered trauma to the soft tissue in the neck area. He will be wearing a brace for a few weeks and passes on his best wishes to all who had enquired about his condition.

Many thanks to Lee and Alec for all their help with Stevie over the last few days.

Training tonight is at 6.30pm and let's get both squads out early so we can get into team practises as soon as possible.
