Shire travelled to the central belt with a certain amount of trepidation given the battle scars inflicted during their torrid start to the season. True to recent form, the Perthshire lads took some time to settle and before long were behind by a penalty, then a try! Inspired by captain Adam Pattinson leading a pack that is gelling as a unit, they began to slowly grow into the game. Dalziel went into the second half 17-10 up but by the hour mark shire had taken the lead, a lead that was extended during the last quarter to bring home 5 points and deny Dalziel their bonus point. Highlights included tries from Debutant winger Sammy Nyatega, a try from stand off Cameron Baxter on only his second appearance, and a brace from scrum half Zack Harris.
