Perthshire RUFC Nominations : Clyde Property Team of the Year Tactran Coach of the Year

The Annual Perth and Kinross Sports Awards will be held at the Dewars Centre tomorrow night and there is huge interest for those involved with the Shire as Perthshire RUFC have been nominated and shortlisted in 2 categories:
Team of the Year award and Coach of the Year.
The awards cover the 2014 season and after claiming the Midlands 1 and Midlands 4 division titles the Senior Mens team have been shortlisted in the Clyde Property Team of the Year alongside Meigle Cricket Club who won the Midlands 1 league and Team Smith Curling who lifted the Scottish title.
In the Tactran Coach of the Year Section , current Director of Rugby Andy Cummins, has been shortlisted with Fiona Dodds who is the current Head Coach of Kinross Otters Swim Club and Mark McKay who is employed by British Cycling as an Olympic Talent Coach.
Head of Senior Section, Jerry Saunders was delighted with the news," this is a tremendous feat for the club, and underlines the achievement of last season with both Senior teams winning their respective league titles and Andy finishing his tenure as Head Coach with two titles to add to his coaching CV."
"The Senior Section has come a long way in three years and it is only fitting that they should be recognised in this way."
Have a great night guys and best of luck to those nominated.
C'mon the Shire!
