Perthshire RFC's senior players have begun training at Letham FC's new 3G pitch and will use it throughout the winter on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
It is an excellent surface which is both IRB and FIFA approved and will allow 'Shire to really hone their skills and fitness on a perfect pitch throughout the winter when their opposition will be stuck in the mud.
It will also protect the training pitch for the minis, midis and development programs.
After their first session both players and coaches were very excited about having use of this facility.
The team will be training there on Tuesday's and Thursday nights from 7-8pm but they will also be meeting at 6:20 at the club on Tuesdays to review their previous performance.
