Perthshire Rugby will have no less than 3 teams in the Caley Finals day at St Andrews on Sunday. This is a tremendous achievement for the club, coaches and players who have all worked so hard this season to get themselves in this unique position of competing in three finals. Colts Captain Findlay Ormiston (Far right) who has led the team to 10 unbeaten games says ' we are gong into game confident after our recent run of form. We showed how tight we can be as a team in our win over high flying Highland RFC and it would be great if we can cap the season off with a win over Stirling County on Sunday'. Jamie Munro (Far Left) who captains the U16's is also proud of his teams efforts 'It has been an up and down season but the hard work we have put in has paid dividends and we are really up the final v Highland on Sunday. The boys are really up for it'. James McCaig (middle) captain of the U15's can't wait for Sunday. The boys are buzzing after the semi-final win on Sunday against Mackie and we will have tough game ahead of us in the Plate Final V Stornoway. 'The introduction this season of the Athlete Development programme (ADP) sponsored by Pentland Landrover has made huge difference to the boys and we have loved the extra Strength and Conditioning and additional support the coaches are giving us. The coaches have a tough job selecting the squad for Sunday as we have a lot players fighting for places, but I guess this is a good problem to have and shows the success of the ADP'
The U15's kick off at 12.30pm, the U16's at 2pm and the Colts at 3.30pm. The boys would welcome as much support from the club as possible in their efforts to make history. C'Mon Shire
