Strive Charity Cycle will finish Day 2 of their cycle at Perthshire Rugby after covering 132 miles from Highland RFC, Inverness.

Perthshire Rugby is excited to announce that it will be hosting a 5 km Doddie Gump Walk in conjunction with Strive Charity Cycle on Thursday 2nd August.

Strive is a newly formed voluntary community group based in Stonehaven set up to design and facilitate sporting events to support and promote important charitable causes.

Strive is excited and pleased to announce that plans are well advanced to stage a massive multi-event fundraiser in support of the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, established by Doddie Weir following his diagnosis with Motor Neuron Disease (MND).

Strive Charity Cycle will finish Day 2 of their cycle at Perthshire Rugby Club after setting off from Highland RFC, Inverness covering 132 miles. Following the arrival of the cyclists there will be a 5k Gump Walk taking place around the North Inch at 6 pm.

We invite all club and non-club members, families, friends, and fellow rugby enthusiasts to come and join the Gump walk which will consist of 2 laps of the North Inch finishing up in front of Bells Sports Centre.

We look forward to seeing everyone on the 2nd August which we hope will be a great evening! Please contact Sarah Hogwood with any queries.
