Monday 2nd July will bring the start of the 2012/13 for the Perthshire Eagles with week 1 of the pre season training programme.
A number of changes have been introduced with new coaches,specialist positional coaching and individual strength & conditioning programmes.
The new format is also reflected in the weekly schedule which is outlined below.
Monday 6.30-8.30pm Strength&Conditioning and Speed & Agility
Tuesday 6.30-8.30pm Specialist Skills and Attack/Defence Principles
Wednesday 6.30-8.30pm Strength&Conditioning and Speed&Agility Part 2
Thursday 6.30-8.30pm Games Related and Individual Skill
From week 2 there will be an additional opportunity for a 3rd Strength & Conditioning session on a Friday night or a Sunday morning.
This timetable will run through the whole of July ,all players will be provided with individual training programmes and these sessions will include players from u15,u16,Colts and Senior players.
The July programme will be progressive and will offer as much support and opportunity as possible to improve individual fitness and skill levels.
All sessions will begin with warm -ups at 6.30pm and cool down/ice baths to finish.
Mondays session will begin with an overall introduction to what is planned for the first month and to the first series of strength and conditioning exercises and it is vital as many as possible attend.
