With the news filtering from Murrayfield about next years league reorganisation it is clear that those teams wishing to remain in this current league will have to finish in the top five positions and currently that would include Murrayfield,Lasswade, KIrkcaldy and Perthshire vying for the fifth spot,so there is a great deal to play for in this second half of the season.
This Saturday the club will be hosting the Bill McLaren Foundation dinner at Perth Concert Hall and the 375 seater is a sell out. A number of superb silent auction prizes have been donated so if you are unable to attend and wish to make a bid you can contact Andy Cummins on 07835929954 or those listed on the Prize sheet.
The players ,under the organisation of Gregor Brockbank will be assisting with the fundraising activities on the night and all attending are reminded that it is full highland dress with Perthshire shirt and tie.
The following have been selected to play for the 1st XV vs Lasswade.
Forwards are asked to meet at 12pm and the remainder at 1pm. Mikey will be down early for those requiring strapping.
Please note all players are to wear Highland dress after the game, those unable should wear normal smart club attire.
2nd XV vs Crieff
A very good turn out last night and welcome to Charles on his first night at training John and Alec would like all players to meet at 1pm at Bells for the short journey too Crieff . It is a huge occasion for the Crieff players and members on their Centenary celebration and again all players are asked to wear kilt,club shirt and tie after the game .
