With the Perthshire pitches inspected and deemed unplayable ,and with no local alternative venues playable ,the new championship rules allow the away team to host the tie if they deem their pitches fit, and that is the situation currently as Howe wish to play the tie in Cupar.
The 2nd XV now find themselves in the Midlands Division 3B after the recent league reshuffle, and the Glenrothes farce, and they will be travelling to Sunny Arbroath to continue their league programme.
Training had a real Festive feel as Glenalmond and the surrounding hills, received a good 2-3 inches of snow, and there was only 1 little mishap with the car convoy on the way home.
Numbers have been good over the last month or so and the squad has shown real strength of character in their willingness to push their bodies to the limit ,under the watchful eye of the strength & conditioning team, and the club coaches are looking for a real improvement in the remaining fixtures.
A number of long term injured players return to the fold ,and it is a welcome return ,to the sun-tinted, Pete Saunders.
