The sun shined on the opening club event of the new season when several hundred players, parents, coaches and friends of Perthshire Rugby came down and participated in the Perthshire Rugby Club Day.

The well renowned Perthshire BBQ was firing on all cylinders and the usual suspects who you might have seen at the beer festival were there in full force to feed the masses.

Heather and her hand band of helpers were on hand with the 'Money for old boots' stall where rugby boots and kit of all sizes could be exchanged or bought with a donation. This was a huge success and something we will continue with throughout the season.

The registration tent was busy with the development team registering a whole host of new players and it was great to see so many new players and parents experiencing our hospitality for the first time.

Thanks to all the volunteers who pitched up and helped out. You make it all happen so thanks again for you time.

The next big event is the making of the Perthshire promotional video on Sunday 30th August on the High street in Perth. All are welcome to participate in. Keep an eye out for new posts about meeting times etc..
