New Players Welcome

Since 1996 when the ladies team was established, membership has continued to grow along with a growing crowd of supporters. Players vary in age (18 to 40+) and the playing standard is from complete novice to veterans. Peterborough is a friendly, family orientated club. Flood light training areas, changing and shower facilities and a bar are available within the clubhouse.

We are always looking for new players of any age, ability or experience. We are a friendly and sociable team who love to play rugby. Why not come give it a try? We also welcome new players under 18 years old to establish a development squad.

Currently we have one ladies’ XV and we play in the National Challenge South East North 2 and our fixtures are scheduled for Sundays (although not every week). Our season runs from August to May. Our last game takes place on President’s Day to celebrate the close of the season on the first May bank holiday weekend.

Previous experience is not required as we have a competent coach to ensure you learn all the required skills and our ladies team will be able to help and encourage new players of all abilities. There is a rugby position to suit everyone! A gum shield and boots will be required for the season training and matches.
