Star will face Football Conference side Braintree in a friendly clash at Chestnut Avenue (7.45pm).
The match will be played in memory of much-loved Star stalwart Jimmy Owen, who died last year.
Braintree manager Alan Devonshire, the former England international, is a friend of the Owen family and will bring his first-team squad to the city.
Braintree missed out on a place in the Conference play-offs, and a tilt at possible promotion to the Football League, by just three points last season.
Braintree had been due to travel to Star earlier this month, but a fixture clash put paid to that match.
Admission will be charged at £2.
