Two Northern Star junior teams scored a staggering 45 goals between them last Sunday!
The Under 13 side managed by Vince Zirpolo roared to a 24-0 win over Stanground Sports in the 9-v-9 Division of the Peterborough & District Junior Alliance League.
And Marvin Bennett’s Under 11 marvels racked up a mighty scoreline of their own as they beat Boston United 21-1 in Division Three of the Junior Alliance.
Nathan Rudman led the goal march for the Under 13s by finding the net eight times. William Palmer struck six goals while Cameron Long and Ashton Bennett-Williams fired four apiece.
Jake Fitzgerald and Bradly Simpson completed the monster victory.
McKenzie Ponsford was the hottest shot for the table-topping Under 11s as he helped himself to eight goals.
Regam Murphy struck six times with Leo Barraco, Finley Bennett and Carlos Serra Ribeiro all bagging braces. Dominic White hit the other goal.
