PRFC are once again backing volunteers to take on a 166.4km sponsored walk in support of the Royal Marines Charity and the Rosemary Foundation.

Last year, only six people completed the 166.4km course, two of whom were PRFC's own Allan McManus and Rachel Lewis. The plucky pair crossed the finish line some 38hrs and 59mins after they took their first step.

For 2018 the Club will pay the entrance fee for 4 volunteers to take in part in a walk of 166.4km along the South Downs Way in support of local charities, Since 1664 and the Rosemary Foundation.

The volunteers should enjoy a physical challenge to take on this bucket list event, which takes place over the 26th/27th May, 2018. Whilst PRFC will pay for entry, volunteers are expected to raise sponsorship monies - the Club will assist the volunteers in this regard.

If you are interested / know/ can bully people into this – then please get in touch with Stu Barden so we can get the team registered and start to sort out sponsorship.

Fliers will be going up around the club shortly.

This is a great event to take part in and an opportunity for us to continue our support of the local community - so your support is very much appreciated!
