A Double Hat-Trick as U15s retain top spot

A Double Hat Trick!!! U15s retain top spot in Skem league

Slimmed down match report this week.

Carl and his band of merry men played Sunday in this "Top of the Table" clash with Town Green Lions. Match started 30 minutes late after logistical problems with the ground staff.
No subs after Joe was unavailable, so it was all hands to the pump.
6 minutes - Dom scored a penalty in the bottom left corner after being brought down himself in the box. Classy finish.
13 minutes - Louis nipped in behind the defence and slotted it in the corner.
26 minutes - Dom headed in from close range after a free kick from Bastien West-Steiger
31 minutes - Louis broke through the offside line after a slide-rule pass from Marcus. Nicely put away.
So at half time it was 4 - 0 and looking good. Every single person was putting their tuppence in and playing very, very well. The players couldn't be faulted.
Neil had to go at half time but was confident we could hold out (and was correct).

Second half commenced with no substitutions (we didn't have any!!)
70 minutes and Louis nipped in again behind the defence, put through by a lovely pass from Kane.
75 minutes and we conceded a goal to their centre-back who had been put up front. He broke our defensive line and put it in the bottom corner.
At the end of the game, Louis was fouled on the edge of their box and captain Dom was obviously upset that Louis had scored a hat-trick and he hadn't, so up he stepped and stuffed the ball away in the bottom corner. A hat-trick for Dom as well!!
Town Green lions were gutted but put up a spirited display.
We won 6 - 1 and remain 3 points clear of West Lancs Colts who we play next week.
A very, very accomplished performance this week by every single player.
