Undefeated once again in a tough group to win through and take the title.

the little club down the road strike again
- Chris Vaughan
Once again a very well done to the little club down the road Phoenix RFC Under 8s who played in the Beaconsfield Spring Festival 2015 today and though given a tough draw in the league playing against two Beaconsfield sides as well as Henley and Windsor. Well played to the boys who Beat Beaconsfield Panthers 6-3 after been two nil down early on. We managed a hard fought draw against Henley 6-6 and a great win against unbeaten Beaconsfield tigers 7-6 needing to seal a win to top our league and go through to face the winners of league A we managed to convincingly beat Windsor 10-1 letting a late try in at the death.
Marlow were the finalists who had also gone unbeaten so a good final was expected only for Phoenix to go against everyone's thoughts for a winner and winning at a canter 6-2. We had injuries but were well covered by late call ups for Ethan and Kyle who came to the rescue with a mad dash from the club to fill in and play in the final league game and of course the final as we were down to the bare six. Well done all the boys a great effort . Ronnie was captain and our player of the day followed by Joseph Padraig Harry Sam Toby James and later on Ethan and Kyle. Amersham awaits the next squad on the 15th March. overall winners and undefeated
