Match Day summary 13th November 2011
COMMENTARY
7 wins across 10 matches on a glorious late Autumn day represented another great return for the Pitshanger Fc teams.
The most impressive performances came in the County Cup where three teams survived tough draws to reach Round 4 - of course they included our two teams with a perfect record this season, the U17A and U16A's as well as the U15A's. The U17 A's defeated Hounslow 8-1 with two goals each from Yousif Hameed and Lutjano Spahiu and goals from Wojtek Opalinski< Dylan Robinson, William Hick and Elliott Lewis. The U16A's showed some fantastic attacking football in defeating the leaders of the Watford league, Edson, 10-1 with Tobi Otumbade capping a fantastic performance with five goals adding to Kenny Harper's hat-trick and Jeremy Lochead's brace. Finally the U15A's beat a tough Magix side thanks to a hat-trick from Evander Afonso which included two marvellous free kicks.
Elsewhere in the league, there were very good wins for the U15B's (4-2 at St Joseph) with Nasra Samadi and Chris Jones among the scorers; the U13B's which continued on their winning run beating Headstone 6-1 with braces from both Victoria Lochead and Callum Moniyan; and both of our younger 11-a-side teams. The U11A's are cementing their position near the top of their division following a 4-0 win against Brookhouse with goals from Grev Kunuscevci, Kieran Clark, Musafa Myrvais and Jack Whittaker and last but not least the U11B's got their second league win in a row by confidently beating Larkspur 6-1 including goals from Lucacz Jonas and Milan Sutherland.
Of the defeats, the U18's were unlucky to narrowly lose to a strong Enfield side in the County Cup whereas the U16B's and U17B's suffered disappointing league defeats respectively against FC Kensington and Hayes Yeading.
