As you may have read on our Facebook PAPPA page it was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Joan Hills on December 12th. Joan, along with husband Terry, managed the clubhouse and bar for a number of years in the 1990s through to 2002. Joan held the positions of Bar Chairwoman and Membership Secretary and held the fort on countless social occasions, matchdays and training sessions.

Terry and Joan were both awarded Life Membership in 2002 for services to the club and tributes have been added to our page on Facebook from club members of the period. Her funeral takes place at 15:30 on Thursday 22nd December at Weston Mill Crematorium.

Our thoughts are with husband Terry, grandchildren Steve & Kellie at this sad time so soon after Joan's son Steve passed away last month. Joan will be remembered as a great character in the club's recent history.
