The day started early at HMS Drake when Chairman Nick Hancock was joined by eager volunteer John-Paul Browning on the deck of HMS Ocean and got to pose with the famous trophy.

Tom Worboys also got to get his picture taken representing his service side.

From there, the Rugby World Cup made visits to Keyham, Marjon and Exmouth beach before setting down at Crediton RFC. The Cornwall & Devon champions were hosting an u24 Exhibition match against Barnstaple to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the great war.

Stuart Quarterman and Martin Edwards were guests of Devon RFU for this event where Quarterman was presented with the RFU 'Valued Volunteer' award by Devon President, Maureen Jackson.
