Pock U11s have impressed many pundits this season but the biggest plaudit yet came with a debriefing by none other than England coach Stuart Lancaster

Pocklington Under 11s were at West Park Leeds last Sunday, the venue that has been selected for the England team’s 6 nations trainng camp.

The 22 man squad was rotated to give everyone a good game and tries from Charlie Laudage, Louis Ratcliffe, Matthew Mann, Alex Todd, Rob Boddy and Lawrence Mason plus two conversions from Jonty Goddrad gave them a convincing win, while man of the match was awarded to Will McMullen who played his heart out.

The biggest surprise came after the game, as the England coach Stuart Lancaster is also a West Park under 11's coach. And the boys were spellbound as Lancaster (pictured with the Pocklington boys)gave his feedback on the game and told the squad about his training plans for England and their forthcoming matches.
