Pocklington delay finalising their lineup for Saturday until after training on Thursday evening. They have strong competition for places after a handful of players are back from injury, though a couple more need to test out minor knocks. They have selected a squad of 37 players that will be divided into the 1st XV at home to Heath and Panthers to entertain York.
Pocklington know they need to be up to the mark for the Yorkshire One clash with Heath as their opponents handed them their bigest defeat of the season at Halifax back in October. On that day it was closely contested in the first half but Heath ran away with it after the break to win 40-7.
Pocklington Pilgrims als host Riding Vikings on Saturday, while the Under 14s and Under 13s are at home on Sunday.
