Ponteland U16’s have got the 2018/19 season off to a great start
Ponteland U16’s have got the 2018/19 season off to a great start, by winning the Vase in the Paul Van Zan Friendly Festival.
After finishing second place in Pool A, they progressed to the Vase final against Whitley Bay Rockcliffe who finished second in Pool B. The Final proved to be a very tight match (it always is against WBR). But with two well set up Tries and some outstanding defensive work, Ponteland finished victors with the final score being 12 - 7 to Ponteland.
