Weekend Preview

Enoch Lewis Cup Quarter-Final

The First XV travel to Llantwit Major, who themselves are struggling this season and are currently propping-up the table. It should prove to be a tough game as Llantwit have improved performances in recent weeks and victory over the Green and Ambers could allow them to move off the bottom.

This Saturday (21st January 2012) sees the resumption of the Enoch Lewis Cup with a tasty quarter-final against Pencoed at Lawrence Park.

The Athletic haven't played since November and Pencoed will provide a stern test. The prize will be a Cup semi-final and a chance to get the Finals weekend in May.

The match referee will be Mr. Anthony Williams from Maesteg (Mid Glam District).

The Youth travel the short distance to Bryncethin. Last's week game was postponed but coaches Mike Thomas and Neil Smith are hoping that the youngsters will continue to build upon the solid performances of recent weeks.

The match referee will be Mr. Mark Evans from Maesteg (Mid Glam District).
