See below for all the details of all the Portishead Town Football Club fixtures for the forthcoming weekend.

Portishead Town are in desperate need of a result against fellow strugglers Oldland Abbotonians at Bristol Road on Saturday. Posset are routed to the bottom of the Toolstation Western League Division One and have only picked up one point in their last six outings, notably against Oldland Abbotonians where a Nic Steadman strike was enough to earn a draw. Since then Posset have lost five on the bounce including a demoralising 11-1 defeat away at league leaders Bradford Town in midweek. Lee Ballard resigned as manager following the defeat at the hands of then bottom club Keynsham Town last Saturday but has continued to support the club by offering his services in the Posset goal on a short term basis.
Committee Member Pete Kelly has stepped up to take on the challenging role of interim first team manager and will need support from all of his players during this difficult time for Portishead Town Football Club. Pete has looked at Saturdays fixture as a winnable one and one that could help Posset on there way to survival. He will be without talisman Keiran Marsden who requires further treatment to an infection following having his ears pinned back on Thursday. James Hailwoods reserve team restored the clubs pride with a 3-2 victory over Cheddar Reserves on Wednesday, Mark Mapstone, Matt Jones and Keiran Marsden the scorers in a fiercely contested battle. The midweek win sees Posset up to 7th place in the Somerset County Division Two West ahead of another break from league duty as they fight it out for a place in another quarter final when they travel to Bishop Sutton. Having already reached the quarter finals of the Somerset Senior Cup Hailwood is keen for them to progess in the Division Two Cup on Saturday. As holders Posset are unbeaten in 8 rounds in the competition and take some fine recent form into their game with Bishop Sutton Reserves having lost only once in their last 13 fixtures.
Bishop Sutton Reserves play their football in the East side of the Division and currently sit in 13th position.
Posset will be without veteran wing wizard Mark Mapstone as he has been told he has prior arrangements.

Portishead Town A are in Knock Out Cup action when they travel division counterparts Cleeve West Town Reserves. Posset got through the first round with a 2-0 victory over Wrington Redhill Reserves.

Portishead Town B are still bottom of WSM Division 3 and will need to be on form if they are to beat Shipham who currently sit third in the division.

Garry Hewitts Colts have started the season well and currently sit in fourth place in the WSM Division Five, they travel to 8th placed Selkirk United. Garry Hewitt has urged his players to come back with points and has given them each the incentive of an Ice Cream on Weston Pier each if they should win.

After a busy week of senior fixtures Portishead Town Under 18's were beaten 7-2 away at Hengrove Athletic on Thursday night.
