See below for the Bristol Evening Post weekly round up for the Toolstation Western League.

Bitton bag the derby honours in early cup tie

BITTON comfortably beat Toolstation League rivals Bristol Manor Farm in their FA Cup extra preliminary round derby.

The hosts ran out 3-1 winners, Daine O'Connor and James Pilling putting Bitton two goals to the good before half-time.

George Lloyd added a third after Manor Farm's Steve Matthews had been sent off, while the visitors' consolation goal came from Ricky Chandler in injury-time.

Bishop Sutton progressed to the next round after coming from behind to beat neighbours Radstock 5-2.

Will Hailston's opener for the visitors was soon cancelled-out by Jack Durrant before Pete Shepherd's double gave Sutton a two-goal lead.

Paul Hailston pulled a goal back for Radstock, but Billy Downes' penalty and Durrant's second goal ensured the home side triumphed.

Cadbury Heath also went through, hammering Ringwood 5-1 away from home.

Matt Huxley and Nick Dyer gave Heath a two-goal lead inside 25 minutes, before Sam Thompson pulled a goal back.

However, a Mark Reynolds penalty, a second for Dyer and Craig Parsons' first goal for the club rounded off a superb victory for the visitors.

Hallen cruised to a comfortable 4-0 victory over Wessex League side Fawley, while Hengrove won 3-1 at fellow Toolstation League side Street.

Almondsbury UWE and Petersfield must replay after a 1-1 draw at The Field, Jordan Rogers' first-half opener for the hosts being cancelled out after the break by Callum Coker.

Longwell Green also require a replay after a 0-0 draw at home to Melksham, but Winterbourne are out after going down 2-1 at home to Moneyfields.

Steve Hutchings' early opener for the visitors was cancelled out midway through the second period by Joe Galsworthy, but Jack Lee scored the visitors' winner.

Brislington are also out after surrendering a half-time lead at Bodmin, who eventually triumphed 3-1.

Luke Meacham opened the scoring after 33 minutes, but Chris Luxton netted a second-half hat-trick, including one from the penalty spot, to put the Cornish side through.

Welton suffered a similar fate, taking a first-half lead at Plymouth Parkway before slipping to a 3-1 reverse.

Greg Dando gave Welton their half-time advantage, but Will Stringer scored two in three minutes just prior to the hour-mark and Mark Berry added the third for Parkway.

JUST five First Division matches were played in the Toolstation League – with Oldland's 1-0 victory at Cribbs taking them joint-top of the fledgling table with Chard.

Keynsham missed the opportunity to top the table on their own after being held to a 1-1 draw at home to Roman Glass St George.

Cheddar's Lewis Matthews scored a hat-trick as his side moved up to fourth with a 4-3 victory at Devizes.

Shepton Mallet comfortably beat Wellington 3-0, while Westbury picked up their first point of the season with a 1-1 draw at home to Warminster.
