New Players Welcome
Dedicated to ensuring Rugby is accessible and fun for all who take part in youth rugby at Portobello, the “Hornets” run teams at all age levels in Micro (P1 & P2) & Mini (P3 – P7).
Portobello “Hornets” is the micro/mini section of Portobello Rugby Club. We meet at Cavalry Park, next to Duddingston Golf Course, on a Sunday. Training usually begins around 12.30pm.
Portobello also run youth teams from S1 through to U18 level.
All coaching is organised by qualified and experienced Rugby coaches working closely with our local Primary School Development Officer.
The “Hornets” regularly play against other rugby clubs and take part in mini rugby tournaments throughout the season.
The Hornets also take part in organised trips to Murrayfield to support both Edinburgh and Scotland.
