Portsmouth Navy Seahawks was founded last season 2008 out of the remnants of the Gosport Vikings. We competed in the R.L.C. Southern conference and although we won enough games to qualify for the play offs at the end of the season, we were disqualified for not fielding a team twice during the season due to service commitments of many of our players. This was an upset to the club as we really wanted to make an impact in our first season
