PFA - Safety Net


The PFA has invested in a programme of support that mainly targets young players aged between 9-21.

It is an online resource with helpful information and provides somewhere where young players can look at what challenges will be placed in their path while they are in the Academy system.

It highlights the physical and technical challenges young players may encounter as well as the social and psychological demands of a competitive environment.

The Safety Net has a number of categories which players can access after they have logged in using their own password. This website is accessible to parents as well as aspiring players.

It's important young players enjoy the experience however long it lasts, and if they need advice they can access the further information section or speak to our Safeguarding Welfare Officer (Chris Taylor) /Academy staff who are always willing to offer guidance.
