The awards of the season were handed out and the main one was captured by 16 year old Thilan Walallawita, who won the 1st XI player of the year for the first time.
Thilan, who will hopefully gain a place on the Middlesex Academy this winter, got the award for his 27 league wickets at 23 a peice in just his first full season.
The 2nd XI award went to fellow Middlesex Colt Alfie Duke whose performances at that level stood out like a sore thumb. The 3rd XI gong went to Mohammed Zafararullah and the 4th XI award was deservedly won by Tim Ellis.
There was also a Sunday cricket award handed out with 17 year old Harrison Palmer the recipient, where one notable performance saw him hit 150.
Martyn Taylor deservedly won the Club Person of the Year award for some top drawer work on and off the field.
A good night was had by one and all and a fitting way to draw a line under the 2014 season and look forward to next Summer.
