A relatively quiet AGM took place on Thursday 16th October 2014 in the pavilion at The Walk.

The First Team captain remains the same with Lenny Cooper skippering the side for 6th time in 9 years as side will play the top league of Hertfordshire Cricket.

Luke Owers takes the armband in the second eleven for the first time in his time at the club and he will be assisted by Jaymie Icke.

The 4th team will again be run by Martyn Taylor along with the assistance of Jeff Barnes but the third team couldn't raise a skipper on the night and will need to be sorted out during the winter. The was however a massive vote of thanks to John Lewis who has stood down from his role, for the last three years of captaincy.

On Sundays, there will be a shift in the style of cricket and Graham Roffey will remain at the helm. The shift will be confirmed some time next week.

Of the other aspect, many of not all of the administrative roles and posts remain the same as last summer.

The other main aspects of the night saw the league status confirmed that the Herts Premier League will be under the ECB accredited banner! which in truth not many could have forecasted this time last year, so hats are raised to all who played a big part in that.

Recruitment is going well for 2015 but more members throughout the club is extremely important to the forward momentum of the club.

Training will have a dedicated night, that being a Wednesday which will be open to all and this will take place at Dame Alice Owens School.

Other than that, a trouble free evening was had by one and all and we look forward to seeing cricket members at nets and wish them a good winter.

Come on the Bar!!
