1st XI start 2012 at Fairford
The 1st XI's return to division 2 of the County League sees them pit their wits against local foes Fairford on the opening day...
...with their first home game coming a week later against Hatherley & Reddings III, quickly followed by another local derby away at Birdlip & Brimpsfield. The final game of the season on September 1st sees Fairford make the short trip down the A417.
The 1st XI were unlucky to be relegated from Division 1 in 2011, having finished third from bottom and outside the relegation places. However, league restructuring due to the number of Gloucestershire-based teams being relegated from WEPL meant that 3 teams were relegated from Division 1 of the GCCL.
Earlier in the season, the team had fortuitously been handed 20 points following a misdemeanour by opposition side Frampton-On-Severn, but their luck finally ran out in the end of season shake up.
