The Combined Services Barbarians are a recently established rugby union team of predominantly current and former members of Her Majesty's Armed Forces supported by a few family members. The team plays a select number of games each year to raise funds for charities that directly help current and fomer services personnel and their families. The team is independent and not for profit; all profits raised go directly to the charity(ies) declared for each game.

A fixture is currently being organised against a Wirral Clubs Select XV to raise funds for The Army Benevolent Fund. This fixture will be held at Prenton RUFC on Saturday 16 February 2019.
