Craig was brought to the club as assistant coach by Mark Steedman and later became Head Coach for the very successful 2012-13 season when we just missed out on promotion from East League Division 1 by a mere five points.
A serious knee injury had cut short his playing career at Musselburgh RFC but his knowledge and tactical awareness of the modern game were put to good use when he took up coaching - a role that allowed him to influence and develop many young rugby players, especially here at Preston Lodge.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Gail and the rest of his family and friends at this very sad time.
