So it was really good to start of the new year with a win. In the end it was a close 3-2 win against Leigh RMI but we made it hard work for ourselves. Our first half performance was excellent and deserved to be 2 nil up at half time. After missing a big opportunity to go three up and then found ourselves at two all. But we showed great fight and spirit to win the game and play the last ten with ten players. I challenged the players to go on and get a few more goals in the second half but we didn't quite managed that, but we overcame another hurdle and I was pleased that we stayed strong and battled through. Early on in the season we probably would have lost the game but we have got more resolve about us now and this will only help our confidence.
Sunday we are in cup action against Penrith who are unbeaten in the league and are a very good side. Our mind set will be the same as the last few games and we will go there determined to give them a good game and look to continue our good form of late.
