Again last week our first half performance gave us too much to do in the second half. We didn't get close enough to Carlisle and allowed them to dominate. In the second half we pushed forward and managed to put pressure on them and started to play our passing game and we looked much better for it. We scored a good goal but our defensive weakness as a team let us down. Credit to Carlisle as they deserved the win.
Todays game is about concentration and not being complacent. This game will be a tougher game in some ways than playing a side near the top of the league. Academy Juniors have had a tough season and they've come into a league that is just too strong for them. Credit to their players as they keep on playing every week and at times have shown good footballing ability with a great attitude.
We had a good training session on Wednesday and will look to go on the front foot from the first whistle and make it has hard as possible for todays opponents. If we can get on the front foot and get our passing game going then we will be very hard to beat.
