Heys Reserves marched on at the top of the table with a 2-0 win over Manchester Gregorians at Adie Moran Park.
Matt Jolly’s side had to work hard for the points against a resolute Greg’s side.
Having enjoyed the better of the first period it was not until just before the interval that Heys opened the scoring with a Chris Quirk strike.
The visitors enjoyed much more success attacking wise in the second half to pose some questions for Heys, all of which they answered.
However, it was not until late in the game that they made the game safe as the evergreen Abid Uddin (pictured) came off the bench to score and settle the game.
The win, coupled with results elsewhere, puts the Reserves three points clear at the top of the table.
