WHAT A GREAT TURNOUT FOR THE ADIE DAY,

Well what can be said about the Adie day yesterday, what an amazing turnout, what a amazing weather it was great to see lot's of old face's again,

All that was said about yesterday by everyone, was what agreat atmosphere once again at Grimshaw park, it was great to see the old player's and friend's of Adie's, starting in the morning with the junior compitition which was a resounding success, so well done to Ernie and Graham for a job well done, then later on to the girl's on the berger bar who must have shed pound's with the weather and heat from the grill, and off course the old gaurd who have as alway's put in a major effort in the clubhouse, many, many thanks' a big heart felt thank you to everyone, the senior section in the afternoon was something to behold, it was nice to see the old boy's back, marvin walter's, martin love, and other's who will be doing thier best in the league this coming season,one or two old face's that are famous now Jamie Lomas, David Ball who we wish every success at his new club Wigan, but for me the best thing i saw yesterday was our own Matty Jolly putting on a shirt and coming onto the field of play, those who know what matty as been through over the last couple of year's will know what a tremendous step it was for matty, me for one is so chuffed for him having been down the same road myself, matty you are a chip off the old Adie Moran block son, he would have been so proud of you, as we all are, keep up the good work, well done it won't belong before you are back on the score sheet, So once again a big thank you to everyone for making this the best Adie day so far, WELL DONE
