Risborough RFC wins a lottery funded Sport England grant for £10,000 allowing lights & scrum machine to be purchased

Great news, after an exhaustive bid process Risborough RFC has won its bid for a Sport England Small Grant.

The grant is for £10,000 and is Lottery funded. The RRFC committee is now mapping out the plans for the items we will purchase and their storage.

RRFC President and key force behind this grant, Terry Dillon, has started detailed negotiations with the school where we will place a container to store amongst other things a Scrum machine, portable lights and rugby kit.

More details will be supplied as we finalise each part of our plan. We can confirm our thursday training will move to the school on an unused new training area as soon as everything is in place.

Dillon comments "this is just the beginning of wider plans to enhance facilities for the players and wider club"
