Without a league game until January 7, Prudhoe and Stocksfield took the oppertunity to play a non-league game, with Winlaton providing the opposition - well most of it!
The visitors arrived with only 13 players so P&S loaned them Ian Jewitt, Fraser Davidson and Richard Martin.
As it happened, Richard enjoyed probably his best game ever as he was at the fore on a couple of occasions in each half.
For P&S it was an oppertunity to play a number of players who had not had much game time so far.
Virtually from the off, they took the control with Ben Henderson prominent in the first couple of exchanges.
Young Michael Skoyles, playing on the left wing, scored the first Prudhoe try and it was a reminder that he is a talented player either in front row, where he has recently been playing, or as a back.
P&S continued the scoring with Steve Rogers bagging a brace, while Chris Russell also contributed two tries.
Second row Carl Symes, making his season's debut, scored and converted a try.
The game also saw the P&S debut of popular, infulential coach Ginge Wills. Ginge managed to play a complete half touching the ball only once, but he talked every play for each of the 40 minutes.
Winlaton continued to make an effort and did manage to scramble and try although the home side complained the scorer had crawled to the line having taken the ball from an offside position at a maul.
For Prudhoe, Mikey Brown contributed a try and made the most popular pass of the day when setting up Skoyles, who had earlier scored a second try, to complete his first hat trick for the club.
The 50-5 winning scoreline proved a suitable conclusion and prelude to the players' Christmas party.
