This Saturday sees P&S make the short trip to face fellow Northumberland side Wallsend RFC.
Wallsend have recovered from a tough season last year and have strengthened with a new look coaching team and player group. Currently Wallsend occupy 4th position having won 6 of their 9 games including last weeks 34-0 victory over Jarrovians.
Having had a weeks rest the P&S squad is again looking very strong with a host of influential players returning after missing the victory over South Shields. Stephen. Armstrong returns to add to an already talented front row contingent. Alex fitton and David Rodgers will continue in the engine room and Yannick Debil will look to add to his impressive try count from number 8.
In the backline, Steven Henderson returns at fly half, allowing last game’s deputy, Patterson to return to more familiar surroundings at 9. Luke Masters also returns in midfield and Raj Kingman is available after injury, replacing Jonny Nevin in the back 3.
Kick off is at 2.15 at Wallsend Rugby Club and as always any support would be greatly appreciated.
