Winning the toss and batting Pudsey lost Josh Marsden early on to a mistimed drive which was neatly taken by Cleckheaton skipper Alex Bailey at mid off. A 71 run partnership for the second wicket between Archie Scott

only ended with Archie's retirement which brought a controlled and composed innings to a close. Runs continued to come at a good rate with Curtis at the crease and Jack's run out was the only disappointment in an solid batting display from the home side. Curtis hit five fours in his breezy innings which saw him retire on 30 having helped take the score to 135-2. Cleckheaton sent down 32 extras and Saint LAwrence's innings closed on 136-2 after 20 overs.
Cleckheaton's hopes of a good start in a challenging run chase were ruined when James Pearce bowled opener Jack Bleazard in the fifth over. Nathan Clifford was soon back in the pavillion caught by Tom Frankland
