New Players Welcome
Our aim at the Under 10's is to ensure that the kids play in a safe, enjoyable, friendly but also competitive environment.
The under 10’s group have five RFU qualified coaches, all of whom are CRB checked as are our first aiders and administrators. Our age group runs two teams, so competitive matches are possible for all players.
The season runs through to the end of April with training days interspersed with competitive fixtures against local (and some not so local) clubs. Training at Freelands starts at 10.00 and will generally end by 12.00. Followed by a visit to our club house to socialise with the rest of the club.
Please note that a parent or guardian must stay at the ground at all times, either pitch-side or in the warm in the club house where tea and coffee are available during the morning.
Please ensure the children have appropriate kit for playing contact which includes compulsory gum shields. Padding and wet weather gear is also advisable.
We look forward to welcoming new and existing players for the 2011/12 season.
