Bristol Academy are to play Barcelona in the round of 16 of the Champions League.

For the first time in the club's history, Bristol Academy will be competing in the round of 16 of the UEFA Women's Champions League tournament after beating Raheny United in the previous round 6-1 on aggregate.

The Vixens are the last remaining English club in the competition and now face a glamour two-legged tie against Barcelona, the fixtures of which are due to be played on Saturday, November 8th (away) at Mini Estadi, and Thursday, November 13th (home), 7.30pm KO at Ashton Gate.

The Vixens are expecting a strong crowd for the home leg at Ashton Gate. Adult tickets are £10, concessions (students U22 and OAPs) are £5, and kids under 16 are just £1, if you buy in advance! Tickets can be purchased at the ground but match day prices will be higher than if purchased online.
