It is all change in the management ranks of the Senior Reserves and Third teams.

Due to work commitments Dale Jones has sadly had to step down as the Reserve team manager. The Club would like to place on record its thanks to Dale, who as manager of the reserves achieved back-to-back promotions and leaves the Club in Division One. He will be a hard act to follow, however we believe we have the ideal man and are delighted that Kyle Knight has agreed to take on the reins. Having come through the ranks Kyle knows the Club inside and out and he is highly respected in local football. He also has experience at this level having captained the 2012/13 championship winning side.

Likewise there is change of manager in the 3rd team with Chris Smith stepping down to focus on playing and Tom Morgan cutting his teeth in the hot seat. The Club would also like to thank Chris for the commitment he has shown during his time as manager and for guiding a very young side to promotion to Division Five. Tom’s appointment continues the Club’s ethos of giving youth a chance and with the wealth of quality young players coming through the ranks the future is certainly bright.

I’m sure both new managers will be watching the world cup with interest to see if there are any players that will improve the quality of their squad!
