Top teams set for the Sevens
Halifax RUFC are set for their biggest-ever Sevens competition, with a host of leading sides ready to battle it out for the Andrew Feather Memorial Cup.

FTD Black Sheep were the stars of the show in 2013 as they ended the three-year reign of Caldy with a dramatic extra time success.

However the defending champions have some serious competition on their hands this time around as they look to secure back-to-back titles.

The Suzuki Wailers/Akuma Exiles combined side return to the tournament after a two-year absence and they are determined to win their fifth title of a stunning season.

However Rugby Rocks Leeds champions Flying Lizards will also arrive full of confidence, while Baby Ballet - featuring Halifax coach Giles Hetherington - have also picked up silverware this season.

K4 Stingers, Sheffield, Keighley, Bradford Salem and Old Brods will all look to produce the goods for Yorkshire, while Brighton Auvergne have launched an ambitious raid from the south coast.

The ever-popular representatives from Catterick will also be heading down to provide their entertaining brand of Sevens.

This year a social competition will run alongside the main draw, with TeamTom - a charity team - Team Conditioned and the Codfathers among those looking to enjoy the party and sevens at the same time.

It is not just about the rugby, though, with live music from local band Leading Lights and Andy Gordon providing entertainment throughout the day, while Overgate Hospice, Impact Rugby and Nana Jean's will also be in attendance. We will also have a bouncy castle in operation for the children, while the BBQ will be in operation all day - with gourmet burgers and succulent sausages from our nutritional partner MuscleFood.

The action gets underway at 1pm, so we hope to see you all there!
