About the Club
Based in Radcliffe-on-Trent, with easy access from both Nottingham city centre and most of South Notts, our friendly, family-orientated cricket club aims to provide cricket for all ages and abilities, and currently runs no less than 7 senior sides and 8 junior sides. With the Saturday 1st team relegated from the Notts Premier League last season all 4 Saturday sides will play in the Gunn & Moore South Notts Cricket League. The firsts in Division A, the seconds in Division C, the thirds in Division L and the fourths in Division M. Our two Sunday sides play in Divisions 1 and 3 of the Newark Club Cricket Alliance. The mid week team play in the Cope Cup Competition. A few 40 over friendly games are played mid week throughout the season.
The club owns 12 acres of land and has developed two adjoining cricket grounds with grass squares and a large clubhouse.. The clubhouse was recently extended and incorporates a bar, clubroom and four changing rooms. On the field are positioned 3 all weather surfaces and a static net area with 2 bays. Two roll on cages are also used for practice. Members work hard to maintain their facilities and are very active in raising funs to do so. The club is also well supported by the local community. A Cricketing programme with the local feeder schools is well established.
Junior hardball teams, boys and girls, from U10 through to U15 play in both the Nottingham Youth Cricket League and the Newark Youth League. Kwik cricket teams take part in the County Kwik competition. Junior practice for boys and girls from school year 3 takes place on Friday nights from 6.30 - 8.00pm.
